Whoever gets to Mars first wins. Whoever creates the sleekest piece of technological gadgetry is hailed the new king while the politicians with drawn on wide smiles make shady deals out of sight. The hollow vacant eyes of the children with ribs protruding haven't the water to shed a tear. All that matters is that missiles are sold.
